I think a lot of people view the marker lights, appliques, etc as just generic styling rather that specific Raptor characteristics. I think it's understandable in some cases. If you don't know that marker lights are DOT required, you don't realize it looks silly on a standard width vehicle. And lots of Fords have appliques, seen some factory Nissans with it. Not hard to see that some may not realize that it's not generic.

There are others I know that realize that particular aftermarket part looks like you're trying to make a fake raptor, but they don't care. It's not the goal, just happen to like certain looks.
