Howdy guys,

Now that I’ve got my Fox Factory 3.0 rear bypasses in, I’m wondering if hydro bumps are needed now?

I know the Fox’s have increased dampening in the last few inches of travel, so wondering if they do enough to negate the need for a ‘hydro bump’ I was originally planning to purchase?

Not planning to beat the heck out of this truck in the future, just don’t want the bucking bronco ‘feature’ I’ve heard many others express concern with on the board.

Thanks!

If you’re ever planning on going off road, you need them. The bumps will keep the frame from getting destroyed, shocks alone won’t do it.

If you don’t want it to buck, and feel planted and stable over cracks in the road and whatnot, look into SVC’s traction bars. 100% turns the truck into a different animal.

I think it’s wise to do the hydro bumps if you can afford them. If you can’t afford them, you definitely can’t afford the damage you could do to your truck if you are sending it without them. Haha
