Just put these in this weekend. Took about 30 minutes on left side, 10 minutes on right side. I had to trim some of the lip that tucks under the plastic fender because if not it pulls down the fender at the top and there’s a gap that was not acceptable to me. After some trimming with a razor blade they went in much easier and just used my fingers and a putty knife.

Pic of the gap….

Somewhat related ..If anyone in the great state of TX wants to just pay shipping on a slightly used set of Husky front and rear mud guards in box just send me a PM. I'll figure out the shipping and send them out your way. ($20-25?)

Nothing wrong ..just never put them back on after I LineX'd the fenders.

I’m not sure I understand how the liner affects the mounting of the fender flare. Why does it affect where the flare sits on the fender?
Agree, mine didn't move at all. Sounds like installer error.

Instillation is strait forward and there’s no different way they instal/sit in place. It could be some of the liners are not spec’d the same. Also, must factor in how the fenders came from the factory.

I’ve read many others who also saw it pull down/out their fender some leaving a small gap. It did it to mine until I cut the ledge/lip down some.
