Many of the example videos from the most common systems sound a little "raspy" to me. Is that just the nature of the 6.2 engine?

I miss the deep THROATY sound that the 6.0 diesel made. Here are a couple clips:

after:

Can i get that NASCAR sound out of the 6.2?

My Spintech weld in muffler has a nice deep rumble to it. I'll have to crawl under and get the model number for you later... but here's a few vids of it. Headphones work best for these vids.

This flyby really doesn't do it justice, but you can hear the nice deep rumble at the tail end of the video as I let off the gas.

This is a good rumble vid... idle with some revs. This really is a good example of the sound you hear everyday just driving around.

Those DO sound sweet. I am just surprised how different they sound from a diesel of similar displacement. They all tend to have a "wet" sound to them. Kinda raspy/flemmy. I wonder if there is just more water vapor in gasoline exhaust as apposed to diesel. Very small price to pay for the fun factor. I can't wait to mod the heck out of if (whenever it gets here - UG!)
