Whoops, i hadn't seen your reply to me above when I asked again.

So, just to clarify, one would be able to force on/switch between both the front and back cams at will when both installed?

Also.... My... Uhhhh.... "friend".... Yeeeah.... Was, uh, wondering what kind of other technology you guys sell for CreeperVans?

:van:

:jester:

No if you have the factory cam it will continue to work in reverse. If you want to be able to add a front cam and also be able to force then factory rear cam on at all times, the factory cam needs to be rewired to work with the built in switcher. I need to get the exact details from tech support and I will post it up.

Does the "creepervan" have navigation?

The creeper van was just a joke, but it's nice to know that you don't discriminate. ;)

Regarding the front/back cam scenario: Yeah, let me know.... I'm curious to hear what your techies have to say. I'm only asking because I am interested in potentially buying.

Bo,

I know it can be done I just cant remember the way it has to be wired to explain it to you. I will find out on Monday. I can call my dad, The manager of the tech department but then you guys would never hear from me again! He would kill me for asking tech stuff on Sunday lol

1. Does your kit work with Ipads?
2. If I am reading this correctly, your kit will unlock the nav, play dvd movies and play video from the iphone while moving, Correct?
3. The back up camera..what is the maximum length of wire for that? I want to wire it into my trailer so I can see how much is rattling around back there without having to stop, unlock the trailer and look in.

Thanks!

Don't call your Dad until tomorrow, Susanne! We don't wanna **** him off! ;)

x2 on the iPad question.... I can already stream audio from it to the truck via Bluetooth, but if I could plug it in and get audio AND video to the nav screen that would be awesome.
....and I understand only some apps have video output, but things like iTunes videos/movies, NetFlix, and YouTube would work.

1. Yes
2. Yes
3. I think I know the length of the cable but I am not 100% positive. Let me send out some text messages to colleagues and double check.

Called my mom to say hi, Dad has the flu. So he is not happy. You can use the iPad or video iPod. I would suggest using the direct audio/video input because streaming isn't as clear.

Susanne, COUNT ME IN on the group buy. :)

Per our conversation, Shaggy and I are working on getting you a preferred vendor section up on the main page as we speak.

I'm looking forward to getting your product installed in my truck and working with you here on the forum!

***Once we have your section set up we will move this thread there for you.
