I have an 801A package Raptor that I got new. Last year, my Raptor was involved in an attempted theft where they disabled the horn and broke in. I think when the broke in, the imobalizer immediately went off and said it had 10 seconds to put in the key or the vehicle is disabled. I can see in my security camera they saw this, and immediately fled the vehicle.

Given that my Raptor needs a physical key to start it, are there still ways for car thefts to steal it without the physical key? I do cover up the VIN# on the dash and now I always block it in with another vehicle 100% of the time. It sadly doesn't fit in my garage.

Mine doesn't fit in the garage either however I worry more when parking out of town at hotel's etc. They can always use a tow truck with flat bed. I try to make mine a little more difficult with the old fashion club. With the steering wheel turned it would make it more difficult and would not track straight and require dollies.

Yes. The pros are amazing and if they want your truck it's gone. That said, you probably want to make your truck tweaker proof. For example, search the forum for ways to secure your horn connection. Lots of discussion here about making a truck a little harder to steal. Having a physical key is a good start as many people with fobs have discovered the hard way.
