I live in Virginia where open carry is legal, and I have a CCW.

This is the mount I use in the truck. It's from 2A4Life. It's a magnetic mount that can hold up to 25 lbs. It is rubberized to prevent scuffing damage to the pistol, sets right near my leg, and is incredible quick/easy/convenient. It uses a auto-grade 3M sticker mount to avoid drilling into the center console.

For under rear seat, I find the options from Santa Cruz to be terrific. You can get a switch controlled release and wire it to an up fitter switch. If you place it correctly it can be released and accessed all from the driving position.
