Hey everyone,

I have a 2020 Ford Raptor, and I’m trying to customize the DRL behavior but haven’t had much luck. Here’s what I’m aiming for:

When the lighting is set to "Auto" and I put the truck in drive, I want the amber surround lights (or DRLs—if that’s what they’re called) to stay on at full brightness, along with all the marker lights.

Yes, I know I can set the lighting switch to the first position (the “Parking Lights” setting) to get the look I want, but in that mode, the amber lights are dim and not at full brightness. The goal is to achieve that same look but with the amber lights at full brightness when in Auto mode.

Right now, the truck defaults to the low beams as DRLs when in drive, but I’d prefer the amber lights to take over that role instead. I’ve been searching through various forums and can’t find a clear solution for how to make this work.

I have FORScan and am comfortable making adjustments, but I can’t figure out which specific settings or modules to modify to achieve this.

Has anyone done this successfully or have advice on the steps to make it happen? If you’ve used FORScan for something similar, I’d greatly appreciate any guidance or tips.

Thanks in advance!

This has been asked a thousand times, and after going through multiple threads on this, my conclusion is that they haven't figured it out yet without some major trade offs.

I know, and I read through a bunch of them, some guys in the comments seem to have figured out a way to do it but I could never get an concrete answer on how to do it. I have a neighbor with the same truck, and it looks like he has what I'm looking for so I'm just waiting to run into him and ask him how he did it.
