How to create a post with pictures

Is there an easy way to post a how to thread with pictures. For example, I tried to create it in Word and then copy and paste the whole thing into a post but the images did not come over.

I know I can create it by adding text and imagers separately but I'm looking for a better way.

I would upload your pics to imgur or something similar. Copy your text from Word over, and every spot where you have a picture, insert a link for it. The image sharing sites usually have bbcode you can copy for your image.

So if I want a picture right below this text, I'll put the code: [*img]https://i.imgur.com/AEFQFMt.jpg[/img] **remove the asterisk**

it is 2019......the Internets have been a thing for 30 years in main stream.

#1 - load your picture to a hosting site. imgur or flickr work great.

#2 - get the url for your picture and copy it https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/47797829992_27b39120d9_z.jpg

#3 - (easy way) click the little picture icon in the tool bar at the top of the posting box, paste your url
#3b - (html skills way) https://www.html.am/html-codes/image-codes/

Repeat #2 and #3 as needed to build a post.
