How to clean a Roush CAI filter?

Thanks, I'll have to look closer at mine. I need to clean it. I plan on putting a pre-filter or "sock" over it to filter out the big shit...bugs. curious if this would fit in it.http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/vnt-61513/overview/

That 7" length would worry me. The Roush filter is already a tight fit. But the 6" length doesn't include the flange. It "might" fit, but not sure either.

You could put an Airaid sock on the Roush filter.
