Hey boosting1bar,
I'd like to look into this further. What type of phone are you using and who's the carrier?
Also, which year is your truck, and does it have a touchscreen?

Wow I didn't know we had a resource like this here, obviously I'm a n00b lol. My phone is an LG G3 on TMobile (my girlfriend has the same phone on AT&T and the problem persists there). I'm actually an android developer so I'm pretty comfortable sorting out these sorts of errors but short of completely disabling the bluetooth MAP profile in the core of the phone's ROM I can't make this stop happening. The phone is on 4.4.4 and I've tried a couple different custom ROMs as well to see if it were something in LG's configuration of MAP that was making it happen but it has happened across all ROMs.
The truck is a 2014 and yes it has the touchscreen. After doing some googling last night it looks like there was an option in SYNC/MFT at one point to disable MAP but I can't find it there now. Ideally that's what I'd like to do is just disable it in the truck because I actually use MAP with other devices at work.
Other stuff that may help you, I've completely deleted the device from the truck each time I've loaded a new ROM and paired it. I've done a battery disconnect in the truck to reset the radio to assure it wasn't a cached setting. Each time I pair the phone the first prompt I get after confirming the PIN is would I like to allow access to messaging for the truck and regardless of whether I pick Yes or No it still accesses it and I have to go into the BT pairing and manually disconnect it each time, and each time I get back into the truck it automatically connects to messaging without any prompting.
I hope we can sort this out because if I'm honest, the speed and functionality of the infotainment system otherwise is quite impressive and I'd go so far as to say it's the best OEM system I've ever used and better than even some aftermarket gear. I've been very, very surprised and pleased aside from this one small foible.
