I have a 2018 F150 raptor, which recently was left in the service center for a while. today, I followed my wife's car back home. then she told me my front light looks different.

my car setting:
lighting control : auto
daytime running light setting: on (in information display)
ambient light condition: sunny day, full bright day light @ 3 PM
symptom: when driving on the road, only low beam headlight was on, no amber bracket

does any body confirm me if the amber bracket should be on or not with my setting ?
thanks

Sounds right if I'm understanding correctly. Unless you've changed it with Forscan your DRL are just essentially the low beams, none of the amber lights.

Although they are talking about the DRL at 4:30 it looks like the headlights are on, not the DRL.
DRL is low beam only with no other running lights. However that can be changed with Forscan.

I covered my light sensor on the dash with electrical tape so my lights are on all the time. Problem solved.

I’ve always disliked auto lights. Mainly, it drives me nuts that the sensor has to determine that it’s dark enough to turn your dash (heat, radio, and all lighted buttons) lights on. I want them on all the time personally.
