Down here in Northern Mexico, there are 2 F150s in every garage, they either have chrome rims and the little stick on "air vents" on the fenders, or 6 inch lifts, with the same chrome rims.
I have seen 1 silver, 1 white, 1 black and my black one. I bet there are more, but havent seen em yet.
Including a Black SCrew I saw at Champion Ford in Katy yesterday, I've now spotted no less than a dozen Raptors in the Houston area. There are now five parking in the garage of my office building in downtown Houston during the week. Two are white SCabs, the other three are SCrews (white, silver, and black). At the opposite end of downtown, in the parking lot outside Shell Plaza, there's a Black SCab parking there daily. There's also a 2010 SCab in Hazzard County Orange that makes morning stops at the Star Bucks on Memorial Drive just east of Westcott.
Out west, there are two more silver SCrews running out as far as FM359 between Brookshire and Monaville. Not including my own, there are at least two other Black SCrews in the Katy/Fulshear area (I'm guessing one in Weston Lakes and the other in Cinco Ranch). There's also a Black SCab out this way that frequents the bank across from Cinco Ranch HS. Someone has to have purchased the orange SCab I test drove the day I bought my truck and it's possible I saw it on the way into the office last week being driven north US59by a chick just barely tall enough to see over the steering wheel. I got off at the spur and she appeared to continue heading north.
The only other Raptor I've seen on the street was also the sole blue Raptor I've seen so far. It was a 2010 SCab driven by a woman who said she and her husband were looking into superchargers from Hennessey, IIRC. I'd passed her on US59 heading toward Kingwood but, we both happened to stop at the Wendy's on FM1960.
Other than Raptors, there are a ton of F-150s running around the greater Houston area with 6-inch lifts and 35-inch tires on 18-inch wheels that were installed by the dealers. I know that Champion Ford in Katy seems to keep three or four F-150s in this configuration on their lot at any given time. I'm guessing it's their answer for guys who come in looking for Raptors the dealer can't keep in stock. For anyone interested, I'm told they'll have another orange Raptor in stock within the next couple days.
