How many miles do you have and what problems have you had?

This is an interesting read. I have heard of several people having SYNC concerns but don't really have any input. My truck has 32K and have had two phones, a simple flip phone and now a Droid X. Have had no troubles with either. I would certainly try what jdowens1 suggested and check your privacy mode.

Just clicked over 14,300 on my 2010 6.2L.

I've experienced the clunk, but don't care unless it breaks. SYNC used to have problems, but it's been behaving itself lately. I have the CPV ticking which I am only going to replace because it's annoying, as well as the passenger seat squeak. It only squeaks when there is NOT someone in the seat.

Other than that, she is a beast. I couldn't be more happy with this truck.

I tryed all the suggestions and more......nope!

In despair I reset the sync to factory set under the phone menu and? ...wait for it....it worked I managed to call home and ...it disconnected half way through the call.
I was not driving so I managed to continue the call on the mobile set.

This is beyond ridicule. I realy don't find it funny anymore.

I have a iphone4 and sync works all the time except text messages dont work.
My droid2 worked completely text and all
My wifes Droid2 will not sync at all

BTW i have a '10 scab 6.2 with 5xxx miles and no other issues

My BB Curve works great with the Sync, but it doesn't support texting - neither do the Storm, Tour or Bold.

Tell you what...

I am super happy to know that all your phones work OK.

I came here to vent cause mine was not.

I should have started a list of what I tryed succesively and that didn't work.

And today I tryed again all the suggestions of this post and more.

I reset everything to factory in the truck....nope

I remove the battery of the phone and restarted it....nope.

And I did all that one more time.....And the music is playing from the phone, and I managed to call and receive from the Sync .


It works and I officially don't know what could be wrong.

24,800 miles on mine....The sunroof will leak a little bit if it sits out in heavy rain, haven't had it fixed. I really don't want the dealer ******** around with it. I park it in my garage at night, and in the parking garage at work if it's going to rain.....The breaks squeak sometimes coming to a slow stop, mostly in the cold weather....The airbag warning light came on yesterday for no reason, then dissapeared......The 6 speed transmission still drives me nuts! Other than that I still love the truck, and people still gawk at it almost a year and a half later.

Just turned 12K miles and no mechanical problems. I had to have the rear window replaced because it was leaking water.
