I really hate the "How much did that cost?" go to ford.com and find out **** head.

Still looking for some jumps. The Germans can fine the shit out of you if they catch you messing up their fields.

Personally, to INTENTIONALLY 'jump' this vehicle is an irrational act. I would tell anyone asking - BUY OUR OWN and DO ANYTHING THAT YOU WANT WITH IT. I WILL NOT VALIDATE YOUR IRRATIONALITY WITH ANY OTHER RESPONSE.

I am extremely grateful to those Raptor owners that have engaged in this irrational (my belief only) behavior for their experiences and expenses have lead to an unbelievable explosion of strengthen parts and pieces to improve the capabilities and longevity of my soon to be Raptor. Just so you know my commitment, I intend to have ready to install on the newly delivered Raptor - 1. RPG stage 4 suspension; 2. Wavetrac LSD; 3. RCV Ultimate IFS CV Axles - MINIMUM. I am looking at the UCA issue and replacing the wheels and tires with 18 inch wheels and tires.

Again, I am deeply grateful for all the R&D that all of this 'irrational' actions have provided to me.

I do take mine splashing through mud puddles, but my options for offroading are somewhat limited. Around here, you can ride a 4-wheeler all day, but the trails are usually too small for a jeep.

I wanted exactly what I bought - a badass truck that is capable of more than I would typically use it for, although there would be times when I utilize more of its abilities.

I have rifles that I've paid a few thousand dollars for, that are capable of shooting 1500 yards or more. I usually shoot them at 200 yards. So maybe I'd **** some folks off who think I'm not using these tools for their intended purpose. My truck really isn't different. Sure, a regular F150 will do most of what I will ever use the truck for. But I can afford a truck that can do more, and I might use it for that from time to time. Just because I'm not regularly out breaking shit on my truck doesn't mean I shouldn't have bought it.

The OP asked how much we get asked whether our truck is a street queen. Strangers don't ask me much at all, but acquaintances sometimes ask how hardcore I've taken it.

I thought the op was getting at if you never intend on driving the truck off the pavement, isn't that like taking a pocket full of ones to a strip bar and bringing them all home.

While I like the analogy- pocket full of ones, I just find it really strange just how many people have the same first question- have you taken it off road yet, followed not as frequently- have you jumped it yet. Jumping a truck I have done on a street, but I can understand the question. I live in south Texas, so down here, hell I have driven my Shelby offroad. I just am shocked that locals here ask a question like that. A better analogy is living at a lake community and getting asked by your neighbor as you are showing him your boat- so have you had that on the water yet?

My truck usually has mud on the running boards- does right now, and dried mud was dropping off of it when I got that question a few days ago....

It is not wheather you're 'off road' or 'on road'
It is not wheather or not you win or lose.

It is . . how you look . . and .. how you feel.

Everything else is secondary . .

cause if you don't look & feel good in your Raptor

then, why own it.

The main question in this State is:
I want one of those . . . sooo bad
can I checkout your truck?
where did you buy it?
