If anything makes the 2020 worth more, I'm banking on Ford updating the design for 2021. Just a SWAG. A Gen3. I keep hearing rumors about a powerstroke engine option...

Regardless, I just traded my 2014 in because I got a heck of a deal due to the China Virus crashing the local economy. Time will tell.

Any rumors about a Powerstroke in a Raptor are not true. Raptor will always be a gas-powered truck.

I don't know if this is any help, but my new Raptor was ordered in early March and I got the Vin several weeks ago which has the last 6 alpha numerics of C05842. Dealer says that he has the invoice which means build has completed and is awaiting shipment. It is a SCAB, 801 plus other options. Does this mean that this is the 5842nd Raptor built this year??

Since 2014 Ford stopped counting how many Raptors they produced. Rumor I heard was north of 35,000 Raptor package trucks were made in 2019.

below is Fords production info on F150, 250 and F 350.. Excluded is the Medium Duty 550-650 According to the Ford info, they are only down 10,000 trucks a month since start of the year.

I bet there will be an eRaptor at some point to try and drive interest/credibility in electric trucks, but that's JMHO.

As for 2020s, I was at the dealer today picking up my '18 after cam phaser repair, and was looking at the 2 2020s they had left in the showroom. One had the sticker removed, and a $3,500 markup over MSRP in the window. I asked a salesman about it, and he said they weren't making any more, so they were going to hold the 2 they had for top dollar. I told him there were still 19s and 20s all over for significant discounts, and he said, "Not here." I said, well, good luck with that, but I wouldn't buy from you.
