How is this piece removed?

Also….not the best design & I don’t even get why they exist, other than to get pine needles & crud stuck under them & eventually start pointing upward & looking forward.

The rubber on one of them split, not really a big deal. Seeing as how the rear glass needs to be removed to get to the bottom rivet, I’ll leave it alone for now.
