Can anyone tell me how I go about changing out this trim piece, looks like it’s held in with one rivet. Is there a special tool to extract rivets?

Unless it's changed, "They use an ordinary rivet with a silicone washer installed to seal out water" They are riveted in and need rear glass removed. Just grind the head off the rivet the back will pull off once you get the trim out.

So it’s a bit of pain in the *** then, rear glass has to be pulled.

Why do you wanna remove it?

Also….not the best design & I don’t even get why they exist, other than to get pine needles & crud stuck under them & eventually start pointing upward & looking odd
Between the Badger-t1ts and pine needles sticking up you have a gift for the visual :)

It’s odd and it’s ugly. Every time i wash the truck I notice it and try to forget it exists. A few years back and I would be doing a redesign on it. You can probably just silicon it down flat.

Just put a piece of Black Gorilla tape over it! Nobody will notice, lol
