I generally hate sun roofs and usually only get them for resale. my dad has a limited with the twin panel and it's kind of annoying to have the daylite over you. that said, my kids would dig it and i'm wondering if resale would be poor without a twin panel roof. any suggestions?

Any added value in resale will likely be a good bit less than the $1200 it costs outright. Only order it if you think it's something that will add enjoyment while you own it.

As mentioned above it will help resale slightly but no where near what you'll pay for it.

This is coming from a 30 year Ford salemsan

It'll leak in two spots instead of only one or none.

It's a Raptor, your resell won't take a hit over a glass roof.

I would of paid more for a truck that didn't have it(resell gen 1).

Keep maintenance/repair costs in mind too if you plan on keeping it past your warranty. It'll likely have an issue at some point and it won't be a cheap fix at the dealer.

I specifically do not want the twin panel sunroof in my truck. The leak/rattle concern is the primary reason. The secondary reason is that will all the windows down and the back slider open, there's plenty of circulation to be had if you're into that sort of thing (which I am; I rarely use A/C, even in Texas heat).

Great for people with darker tinted windows that aren't legal.
