AMSOIL HDMP is the way to go. Raptor owners have been running it for years on this forum. I lived in Idaho/Montana and my frame was in great shape after coating it yearly.

It is DIY. It comes in a can and you simply spray it on. It really is a great product. You can use it on battery terminals to prevent acid build up. You can also spray it on nearly everything underneath your vehicle: shocks, leaf springs, UCA, spindles, tie rods, frame, hitch, and so on.

I would also highly recommend AMSOIL fluids as well. I have a 2014 with 90k miles and my truck runs and shifts just like it did when I first bought it. I have everything switched to AMSOIL from engine oil, tranny and differential oil, radiator fluid, and even power steering fluid lol. Whatever vehicle you end up buying—regardless of how low the miles are—you need to change the diff fluids, transfer case fluid, transmission fluids and so on. With regularly service, a Gen 1 will last a long time as there are very few things to go wrong.

Fluid film. If its good enough for the Navy to use on their aircraft its good enough for me.

I don't think that rubberized stuff is good for used trucks, it essentially seals in everything. Unless you have a perfect frame with zero oxidation or corrosion and the coating is literally perfect then it will accelerate the process.

I used NHOU on mine. It's been holding up well in the salt belt so far. I used Fluid film on my previous raptor. NHOU smells much better then the fluid film.

Just make sure to let the truck sit for at least 5 to 6 hours before driving it. You don't want the AMZoil mist go over your paint or windshield.
Also if you can get hold of a lift, you get much better results, since you will let the suspension droop and can cover all the areas underneath. If you have a spare under the truck, take it down and treat that area.

I live in Indianapolis and it’s mainly salt here.
I had Ziebart do the undercoating which included the inside of the doors and tailgate. They also did their Diamond Gloss coating of the paint. I just had it done for the second time as I have it done each year for 8 years included in their package. It really worked well for its first year.
