We drive my wife's car Monday-Friday for commuting and use the trucks on the weekend for shuttling mountain bikes, skis, big shopping trips etc.

Vehicles of both sizes have their advantages. I like driving the trucks because I can see over the cars parked curbside in our residential neighbourhood where the streets are fairly narrow and there are lots of stop signs. On the other hand though, going to a busy parking lot with narrow parking spots sucks with the Raptor, have to be patient to find a good spot. Overall though, I would much rather drive the Raptor.

I am fortunate to have had both, i prefer trucks because of my hobbies and my size. I am 6'5" & 300, as a daily driver i truly prefer a truck for comfort!

Just test driving the Raptor from my Z06 is a huge difference. I've never owned a truck before but it was awesome being able to actually see over things. I also enjoyed not having to go sideways over dips.

the main difference for me is dropping between my cars and my raptor is braking.

both of my fast cars have carbon ceramic rotors and will stop on a dime, so after I've been driving the raptor for awhile then I drive one of them i'll stop about 40 feet sooner than I expect. likewise the other way, you can't bomb up to a stoplight and hit the brakes 20 feet before or you find yourself sitting in the intersection.

You have quite the stable. Looking into a used turbo s, gt3, or gts myself.

Thank you.

If it is a street driver you can't go wrong with the 2010-2011 turbo or turbo s. They have taken their depreciation hit already, and are still one of the top five quickest cars in the world. The gt3 is awesome, but I would get one as my track car, it will wear you out on the street, tough clutch and jarring ride.

Yesterday I drove my brother’s Camaro. I did not feel comfortable when I was driving it. I do not what it is exactly, but maybe I am used to drive my truck, which is higher than the Camaro. And I experience this weird feeling when driving regular cars too. I can say that driving a truck is much easier.

Does anyone feel uncomfortable driving cars because he is used now to drive trucks?

I have a Cobra Replica with a Windsor Stroker that makes 550HP. Its at 2450 pounds. I have had it for about 8 years now and it still scares the crap out of me. Probably because I have no protection in it. I feel much safer in the Raptor that's for sure.

I had two mustangs in the past, a 1966 notch back and a 1969 Mach I. I loved those cars. Now I have the Ford Raptor, it is my third Ford truck, a 1993 Ranger, a 2007 F-150, and now the 2013 Raptor. It would be very hard for me to go back to any car. The comfort, the space, and the hight of a truck can not be obtained in any car. I just do not like the cramped position nor practically lying down in a car just to drive it. I need my space... I'll take the Raptor any day...

The brakes are the biggest short coming on this truck, that I have experienced so far. Just me, other people have other opinions. When I went to Nurburgring, I wasn't out to set the fastest lap, but I wasn't doing 20 mph in the far right just to say I did it either. You can see in my video, where I actively slow down and begin to coast around corners. Reason: no brakes. 5 miles into a 12 mile road course and the pedal went straight to the floor. Trying to throw 3 tons of fun around the most famous track in the world is no easy feat with sloppy brakes.

My wife's car is a 2011 MB c300 sport. I hate it. I'm 6'4" and have to have the seat all the way back, all the way lowered in the rear and the front all the way up, basically rendering the rear seat useless. It's tiny, small, uncomfortable, and for a 2011 has pretty much one of the worst infotainment systems I've ever seen.
