How do you drive?

Usually put it in Drive and go. Offroad I usually put it in Drive but use the +/- to lock out everything above 3rd gear. Sometimes I'll even lock out 3rd and just leave it to have 1st and 2nd gear.

This last time I went out (this past Saturday) I used manual and forgot to shift a few times, but it was ok other than that. I liked how it drove in M so I might try it out more often. Definitely felt like I had more control of the truck but it was tricking moving between the shifter and both hands on the wheel. I can see why people want paddle shifters now.

I drive mine in tow haul mode every time I get in, it drives so much better. Hold's gears longer and even downshifts when slowing down.

I like out and go manual if I want to keep it in a certain Gear

I tried manual shifting at TRR this year, but spent the majority of the time in 2nd gear anyway, and once I got to the top of 3rd I'd drop it in drive and forget about it for a while. It did come in handy going down the mountain though. In hindsight I should've tried the Jill Descent too... in 3 years I've never pressed that button once.

On the road I'm always in D.

I'm not a fan of "Jill" really... When she's going down a steep incline I prefer to have a little control over the situation. Whenever I've used "Jill" mode I'm usually trying to mash the break, especially when on the side of a mountain, which kinda defeats it's purpose in my mind.

To answer the original question I guess it just depends... When trying to be obnoxious I've drive in manual and make an outrageous amount of racket in a lower gear. Offroad driving it's really based on the terrain and my mood. Generally the rest of the time especially on the road trips I take her on, it's in auto and on cruise. Even the short drives are lengthy considering civilization is a trek from where I live. Probably why I typically get outstanding gas mileage.

It's hard to beat the 5 Star tune when it comes to shifting but I will shift manually off-road or, as mentioned above, when I want to be obnoxious. Typically downshifting.

As far as how I drive otherwise....... I'm usually pushing my luck.
