GEN 2 How do I install BD S2 Reverse lights into both upfitter switch and reverse gear

Hey guys!

I bought the Baja Designs S2 reverse light kit. I want to connect them in such a way that they'll come on when I put it in reverse and also have the independence if I want to turn them on with an upfitter switch. Is that possible? I don't know much about electrical so I feel confident I could do either one of these, but not both together.

Contact Jeff at Fordraptorlights. They have a custom harness for doing exactly this. I ordered it with my BD reverse light kit on Black Friday. Works perfect!!

Nice find. I’m going to do this as well. Ordered the diodes from amazon. Very cheap for a ton of them. Just going to wire one wire from the upfitter switch through the diode to the trigger post on a relay and tie that in with the reverse light (also on a diode) to the same trigger post. Should work without any issues.

Yeah those were the days when most people actually knew how to do things with their hands other than ********** and play video games... LOL

I still practice the former. Never did the latter. Lol.
