Don’t pay over for a new truck, no matter how much you think it’s going to be better, insurance and resale doesn’t cover ADM. Sure, if you find a gen3, go for it, but don’t lose your lunch over it.
I’d suggest you start documenting, documenting, documenting. make sure your next service ticket says something like ‘truck has been in for the same problem umpteen times, same issue, concerns not addressed’, etc. The S/A is usually reluctant to write stuff like that. Insist. Follow up with your regional guy and get a loaner. It sound like your truck will drain the battery in pretty short order, so they shouldn’t need to spend a cr@p ton on you having a fleet car that the G/M would taking home anyway - offer to drop him/her off on the way home ;-) when it doesn’t start, tell them to figure it out.
I know, it’s easy for us to armchair quarter back this, and it’s frustrating, but I think they can fix this.
