...to install a catback without a lift? I'm assuming the real tough part would be getting the stock exhaust off with such small clearance but was thinking it wouldn't be that difficult if it was jacked up a decent amount. Let me know if I'm smokin dope.

Its not impossible, but its not going to be fun at all. The tubes that go up and over the rear axles will be a real pain. I have my exhaust exiting before the rear tire. I just took it off to clean up the tip with a grinder. Its not fun.

Well I had mine done with a lift. Taking it off is rather easy with the way the clamps are on their. Now putting the new cat-back on was alil bit of a pain cause you have to wiggle the connections together and hopefully the piping fits with each other like it should. My Borla stinger cat-back needed alil bit more of a bigger opening where the tail pipes met the muffler.

I did mine in about an hour w/o a lift.
Simply cut the tubes in front of the rear axle & separate.
Pulls out very easy

Yeah I did mine without a lift also its not that hard. Drop the spare tire before you start it will give you more room to play. Now I just got done installing my Stainless Works headers without a lift.... now that was a workout..

It wasn't hard to do without a lift. I jacked up the rear of the truck at one point to increase the room between the rear axle and the bed I was able to twist off my factory exhaust without too much trouble.
