Previous owners remodel that only had 1 car and a riding lawnmower netted me.......15'6" x 29'. Long and thin gets it in i guess.

I'd say 24' depth minimum. Gives you room to comfortably walk around.

Mine are 10 feet wide by eight high by 30 feet deep. I have about two feet between garages so car and truck doors can open fully
