How big is your garage? How big should it be?

In the market for a new house with a garage. I own a super crew. The average house in my price range has either a 24x24 or 26x26 garage both with 8ft doors.

how comfortable will that be? I am assuming functional, 24ft shop will be tight but do able I'm thinking.

would like to hear some personal experiences with garage sizes and raptors.

Pretty sure I have a standard 20x20 for the cars and the Raptor is 10x24. I'll measure when I get home.

I do all my work in the 20x20 or driveway.

My home was built in 78' and only has a 23' deep by 22' wide garage but I have plenty of room for both our vehicles....not to mention room in front and sides to walk, kids crap, tool chests etc. A newer home should have a bigger garage and plenty of room to house your Raptor with room to spare.

Mine is a 22 x 22 and both my RX8 and Raptor will fit just barely. Though generally the Raptor stays in the driveway. If I move away from Hawaii, I'll make sure to get a 3 or 4 car garage, with stalls that 10 feet wide a piece.

Trying to convince my wife we need to move... Found a great house (needs updating), 2-car garage.... And a 2500 sqft workshop detached! As @The Macf and @2014RubyRed would say I don't need it, since I don't do my own things... But it sure would be bad ass to have for a MDM headquarters/work space.
