2017, live here in Hell a Zona only time I overheat is when towing around 3 thousand lbs up really steep grades.
Just gets hot like you guys around 240 for a minute and if I back off it also cools down appropriately. While in for other oil leak issues under extended warranty, dealer noticed a WP leak at weep hole, replaced, no real cool temps but I have to consider towing up steep grades on in 110 plus temps

Just a follow up for those interested in the heating issue....I broke down and took it to Ford. What I thought was a squeaky Pully was in fact the Cam Phasers failing....that was a nice bonus. They also determined the Water Pump is bad and leaking and confirmed my suspicion of a bad front wheel bearing.

Not sure the new water pump will aid in cooling....maybe it will hold pressure better? Not sure. Don't have it back yet, so stay tuned.

Wanted to try one more time and see if anyone sees this that may have other options...

Updates are as follows:

New Plugs
New Coils
New Cat - CEL showed the one to be underperforming and Ford said they can't diagnose the heat issue with this being a known issue.

It was 12* here in Texas a couple weeks ago and it still would jump to 230+ going up hill completely unburdened.

Fun New sound coming from the driver side engine bay is high pitched squeal when accelerating hard....Air leaking from some piece? probably a few things that could be. Don't think its related, but who the hell knows.

As always, thanks for looking and trying to help. I feel like I get a lot of generic info from Ford and no real investigation to whats going on.
