I was looking at possibly doing the entire hood and roof in a CF wrap. I don't know if I would have the ability to do it myself but it might be worth a shot. Thoughts??

If you have 2 people and doing the entire hood, it won't be bad. Takes a little time, but isn't that difficult doing entire panels.

is there any brand to avoid? my place has 3m for cf, and hexes for matte black.

CF wrap

The best product to use is the 3m 1080 wrap film. Also to do the CF wrap you would be able to just need to be careful of not cutting into the paint.

the 3 I have to choose from is macal, hexes and 3m. and this is my dd so rocks in the winter are critical.
