Hood alignment - paint damage

Truck was at the dealer yesterday for regular maintenance and I just noticed that the hood isn't aligned correctly and it has caused damage when opened. I wash the car myself by hand and am certain it wasn't like this before. 83265ee3-d46f-483e-8942-f8d83f21101f.jpg

Reasonable would be having the hood aligned the way it should be to prevent further damage and for the damaged area to be painted to match. You will be very lucky to get a 100% match though.

Had the same thing with my passenger’s door. This is just another example of the poor quality assurance that comes out of the factory.

Have them re-align it and apply the touch-up paint yourself. That’s the best outcome.

thanks all. weird that it happened. wasn't like that originally as will have been opened a handful of times of the past 18 month of ownership
