Well, started making my mount for teh new jack.. So effing hard when you dont have teh right tools available to do stuff. As you can see in teh one picture, this what happens when you have GF help heating the aluminum... Bottom left corner a bit melted... ha ha ha

So, the new rack for my junk... Not done yet but you get the idea. Still need to mount the quick release for jack, fire ex, tabs to secure to bed slide and my winch.. Its on teh back edge so I can make things fit without getting inside. It will be permanently mounted close to the rear window

Great Idea!

But, why such heavy gauge on the aluminum for the jack mount? Could have gotten by with 1/8" which would have been easier to work with.
