I was in an accident with my 8 month old Raptor and it had to have body work and mechanical work done. Unfortunately I had to leave it at a FORD Dealership (Escanaba, MI) which is over 600 miles away, so I was unable to periodically check on the progress in person. They had it for about 3 weeks to work on it.

1). It was supposed to be delivered on Tuesday, but they were "delayed" so I had to wait until Thursday to get it. (Another hassle). We worked out a deal to where they were going to deliver it to my work in the afternoon so I could drive it home. I called the dealership twice on Thursday to see if their driver was on time to deliver. Carrol finally called me back stating that their driver never left until well after 0930hrs and won't be into Cleveland, OH until 2000-2100hrs. So I got a ride home from a coworker and finally got in touch with the driver to tell him to just come right to my house. He finally showed up close to 2100hrs. It was too dark and the truck was too salty to fully inspect then.

2). I finally got a chance to drive it today and closely inspect it. Let me know if there's any issues with these pictures?

Steering wheel alignment?

Gap of front/bottom bumper to top bumper?
Corner of Bumper sticking into the wheel well past the upper bumper?
And also the color of bumper. I tried to get the color to show up in the pics, but it's black rather than the grey. If I remember correctly, it's supposed to be GREY and match the fender flares and grille?

EDITED TO ADD: The pics don't do the color difference of the bumper to fender flares justice. But the gap between bumpers is uneven, and the corners stick into the wheel well / don't line up with the fender/wheel well lines.

Yep, I would be pissed off. Did insurance pay for it? I would think you could go to your insurance company and they could supplement a payment to a shop close to you. Or perhaps a local Ford dealership could fix it and invoice the one in MI. I would definitely call that ****** shop and explain your concerns and what they will do to make it right.
Good luck.

Poor work on lining up the bumper. Check if the brackets were replaced. They could be bent. Unless the frame was tweaked.
As far as the color, there is no code for the bumper and flare color in the paint database. At least that's what my program tells me. That would have to be eyeballed. So color matching to perfection is almost impossible. If the bumper was bent, they should've just replaced it. It'll come brand new with the factory color.

And check your insurance policy. Usually vehicles under a year old that have a certain bent panels, repairable or not, they should replace with brand new. Depends on your provider.

Poor quality control on their part. Easy fixes for them, but 600 miles away really sucks. Matching the paint should be easy for them, most paint shops can match the paint with a computer these days.

Insurance Claim. ~$14,000 in work. No frame damage. New front bumpers, hood and rear fender replacements...

The bumper was/is supposed to be new. I didn't know if it came flat and needed to be painted to match or not. Or if it was made by a second party rather than FORD since the fit is off.

But the gap between the lower and upper bumpers is over an inch and the radius of bumper and wheel well looks like absolute shit.

I called the dealership in MI (Northern Motor Company) and of course there's no one there from the service department today.

Definitely looks like poor quality work.

You likely won't get much out of the dealership.

Personally, I would contact my insurance agent and explain to them. Insurance company should still be on the hook for repairs.

I don't know if this will help but I found the touch up paint for the bumper, UJ PMP-19500-7204A Maybe that would lead to the paint code. As for the steering wheel being off center that is a common problem when getting the alignment done it is a quick fix but unfortunately you may have to pay someone to do it.
