Say goodbye to your leafs and shocks loading it up like that, there is a 1000lbs max payload for a reason.

Oh, I don't know about that. I just completed a 2,000 mile move from Alabama to Nevada with a 450 pound Buell in the bed and towing a 5x8 U-Haul trailer full of heavy shop gear. The Raptor towed it across country flawlessly, and the fuel economy didn't suffer much.

Dane, here's what I recommend. Get a trailer. Put one bike in the bed of the truck and the other on the trailer. Load up the ramp and the rest of your gear on either side of the bikes. You shouldn't have any problem whatsoever.

If I had a trailer, I'd just put both bikes on the trailer and call it good. The problem is I don't have anywhere to store a trailer at my house. With the hitch haul setup it would be WAY more convenient for me if I can make it work. Also, it would be much more convenient for long road trips and obscure camping sites to not have to deal with the trailer.

I may have to go to a trailer, but I'd like to exhaust this option first.

Just remember air bags do not alter the GAWR gross axle weight rating.. This will most likely be the next thing to overcome.. You, plus passengers, plus the dual sports (I would take them and weigh them), fuel for the bikes, fuel for you, food, clothes and camping gear.. The GAWR for the super crew is 1020 pounds....

I realize it would be breaking the rules by a couple hundred pounds. But those axles aren't what's limiting the Raptor's payload.

Could get a roof rack to carry gear and through the bikes in the bed. And there's fold up trailers which don't take up much room.

Dirt Bike Trailer - Stand-Up Off Road Trailer and Folding Dual Sport Trailer for Dirt Bikes

Yeah, but I still have a weight issue there. The bikes still weigh the same.

I've considered the fold up trailer route and I'm keeping that as an option, though just not my first choice.

Would some upgraded springs maybe give me a couple hundred extra pounds to work with? I've read a lot of spring debate here, so I'm not sure which route I'd go if that might work.

I still like my option. Tow Raptor and bikes with F650, then park it in the back yard.
