I just don't seem to get why everyone thinks it was just going to take off all of a sudden, lol its in gooey mud and the only reason its moving at all is because of the winch. Even if a back tire caught a bit of traction its not going to go 0-20 instantaneously and smash into the bronco with it being mired in the mud like that. I do agree with the kids needing to be away from the winch cable and it looks like a woman was attempting that at the end of the video.

For the record I don't think there was a huge chance he was about to slingshot backwards. But I think there was some risk on catching a root and getting some traction. So that (small) risk, combined with the seemingly pointless hole digging the tires were doing, the lack of line weight should stuff snap, and the kids standing way to close in any case, makes this technique a nonstarter for me.

OK, assuming you're correct and there's zero chance of the truck gaining traction, then why was it so important for the engine to be revved so high and the tires to be spun so quickly?

I would like to know what you're talking about when you say, "Are you concerned for all the kids that die everyday from attacks for the US?" Are you saying US attacks are killing kids?

By the way, I'm concerned about ALL kids health and safety. Especially yours (sounds like they might need it). :mrgreen:
