So I recently changed my plugs, wires, pellets, boots and the whole thing. I have what I think is a misfire while driving, it only happens when I'm in a high gear at a lowish speed (45mph) and the truck stutters hard and when I give it more throttle it wont go past 2000rpm. Eventually itll go away and drives normal.
Second issue is when I put in park it idles really high for 10 seconds and dies down to 600.

I cleaned the mass air flow sensor and everything and did not help. Also double checked all spark plug boots and everything is tight. Im starting to wonder if I didn't tighten the passenger side front spark plug enough or I broke a vacuum hose Im not aware of.

Truck has a lot issues and this is just the beginning sadly.

Have you checked for codes?
That certainly sounds like a vacuum leak. Start by ensuring none of the intake is loose or damaged, if that checks out OK pull it and check all your vac lines.

Were you having some of those issues before you changed the plugs, etc. Like Ben asked, no codes? No check engine light when it misfires on you?
Sorry for some reason it didn't update when you guys replied .
This misfire while driving is new the rough idle has been there since I bought the truck .

But no codes at all, I even bought a ELM327 to do forscan and still nothing . Even when it happens it doesn't throw a code .

I heard it could possibly be a the Purge canister ? But not sure where else

Also truck is losing oil and coolant but no oil contamination, no leaks or smoke out the exhaust .

What mods are on the truck? We need more info!!!
How many miles and what year is your truck?
Is there a Tune on the truck that you know of?

You should do a compression test to rule out a broken head gasket.
You shouldn't be losing coolant unless there's a leak your not seeing!!!

If that checks out ok, the next step would be a smoke test.
I'm with Ben, you most likely have unmetered air entering the engine.

The next place to look at is the "Lead frame", do a search for the Raptor and leadframe issues.
Your concern of misfire could be transmission and the throttle body freaking out.
The PCM might not be getting correct info from the tranny either by leadframe and/or input/output sensors.

If you really have misfires, the PCM would tell you.
And it would be a permanent error by now.
Do you have a OBDII reader?

FYI, there is a warning on those cheap Amazon ELM dongles,
most do not have the correct resistors to prevent damage to the PCM.

Ah sorry been busy with a bunch of things

2012 Ford raptor screw has 165k miles on it and no mods that I'm aware of .

Yeah I ran my obd and nothing came up . Truck doesn't miss gears or anything, it shifts clean.

Looking through it this morning I noticed a broke hose down by the driver side header that had a white plug at the end, not sure what it does . I'll have an updated photo when I get off.

I understand you saying the Tranny shifts good.
Just pointing out that these trucks throttle response comes from the transmission's output signals to the PCM.
If the Leadframe is compromised and /or the bulkhead connection for the leadframe, you will get those symptoms.

It's something you should check.

Also, a weak battery, loose or corroded battery connection can cause issues.
Even the connections down by the starter!!!

So got around to replacing the Purge canister , idles better now. I checked passager side plugs before it got dark and their all on . I'll start the right side when I have a day off .

I do have a video of it acting up . It's hard to hear, but the truck shakes. I floored it near the end and it cleared out till I got back to the lower rpm range

But battery is weak I found out, so I'll get around to replacing that

That might be the front diff vent hose laying there, usually they are fastened to the master cylinder.
