Mine's not in too bad of shape or so I thought until I seen this, I'm ordering the kit today, thanks for the idea.

Not sure but interested to find out. I know mine will throw a reminder based on time (a year) or miles (mine's set to 5k). It may adjust for driving habits but I haven't noticed it.

As @BenBB said, it goes by mileage and some sort of time, when I didnt drive mine much for a year and a half, the oil life came on saying to change the oil only 5% left, I thought I had changed the oil a year previous before it sat, checked the oil and it was still clear and no dust on the filter, so I am pretty sure it gives a reminder after a year, on ours anyway.

maybe it has the 1 year time setting and is also qualitative (realized i mispelled this in my original post lol). I think my sticker was set for a 8k interval, which i never listen to lol

EDIT: also noticed your odomter, its gettin up there, i would hope for mine to run another 100k at least! Is there a leaderboard for this? lol

Same here. Got a Blue Carbon replacement strip and it’s looking great. Beats that old dirty red one I had… Dayam.
