Traded my 2013 for a 14SE and noticed the headlights are out of adjustment compared to the 13. They don't have much distance and make it difficult to drive at night because of this. Is there an adjustment that can be made to raise the lights or do I have to take it in to have it taken care of.
Thanks.

You can check the manual, there is a stock adjustment head that is accessed through the top of the headlight. Use a #2 phillips head and turn counterclockwise to raise.

These HID lights dont seem as bright as the ones on my 13. Is it possible the door is not opening to the proper level. I was able to raise the level of the lights but the bottom of the beam came up as well. Just seems a little darker than it should be.

There is a very defined cut off and so there should be lots of light on the ground and almost dark above the cut off. On high beam it should then fill in the area above the low beam cut off. They take a bit of getting accustomed too but are so much better then the halgon lights.

Assuming your '13 had the factory HIDs, the '14's lights should be identical in performance.

I can't speak for the stock HID's. But, the 50w Evo-X HID's are a direct bolt on upgrade and they are bright as F$&@! I had @Raptor Retrofit install them in '13 HID housings and they are awesome.

By "direct bolt on", if you mean opening up the headlights removing the factory projectors, trimming the housing, aligning the new projectors, bolting and epoxying them in place then resealing the headlights, then yes they are a direct bolt on.

You make it sound soo hard. What I should have said, was just hand Dawson a big pile of cash and let him do all of that crap.

Lowered mine down yesterday, probably a good 3-4 full turns each (I'm set at mid-perch).
