The F250 was a cold December morning on my way to work. Hit the on-ramp and could see traffic coming so I goosed it (still had the boost up) and the grade changes on a slight left to right sweep before entering the highway. I was probably up to 75-80 and the rear end came out. Tried to drive through it, but I finally entered the highway, taking up both lanes completely sideways and the truck was hopping. I had two choices, keep going and end up in the center ditch and risk continuing momentum and going into the on-coming lane or jack it back and end up in the shoulder ditch. I opted for the shoulder and ultimately resided like that. Funny how it all happened in slow motion and I pressed myself into the back of my seat and walked away without a cut or bruise.
I'm a Terrain fan, but not too many low mileage used ones out there cheaper than new. Found a nice silver one with side graphics and beadlock capable wheels which pull it together. My wife also likes silver, "so our cars match."
I've already got a few things in mind: black cap mirror reflector delete (thanks to the $100 mod thread), JLT oil separator (my drive to work is 1.5 miles), and a tonneau cover. Later mods include: LineX wheel arches/front grille, likely an ADD or SVC front bumper, and train horns (mostly for the awesomeness, but also nice to have an on-board compressor).
EDIT
and lots of lights!!
