New to the forum here.. I'm going to more than likely be upgrading from my XLT Scab F150 to a Raptor here pretty soon. Anything I should look out for?? I'm pretty pumped as I've always wanted a raptor and I now have a job to afford one. Its going to be hard letting my decked out F150 go but for a Raptor.. ANYTHING!!!

Are you buying new or used? There has been a kink or two in the production of these trucks along the way (i.e. "the clunk" in early 2011's) but Ford/SVT seem to have worked out all those issues as they've kept production rolling.

Probably used.. What does the clunk issue pertain to? Any build dates i should avoid. Greatly appreciate the info!

Also, What are the tuners you guys like most? I have read a lot about 5 star however I have an Edge CTS from my current truck I wanted to try to use but I haven't seen much on here concerning edge. How much does the 5 star run?
