The funny part to me is that it is a federal crime to remove, replace, or relocate the factory installed cats for the first 5 years or 50k miles. The dealer would be fined $10k if caught. Why would a dealer put themselves at risk?

Just make sure you get it in writing from the dealership that these mods are covered.

X 1,000,000

Kooks LT's w/ high-flow cats - $1700 from SDHQ
AFE CAI w/ 2 filters, pre-filter and cleaning kit (and not as open as a HPE intake) - $400 from SDHQ
SCT handheld tuner w/ 3 custom tunes - $400 from 5 Star
Performance muffler of your choice - $80-$200ish?

There's your 475 package for $2500-2700

These 3 items are basically saying the same thing. So I guess that means those decals, plaque and embroidered headrest's are made from Unicorns.
• HPE Engine Management Calibration with Handheld Programmer
• Chassis Dyno Tuning & Road Testing
• Custom Engine Management Software Calibration

This is not to say it won't be a super nice truck and perform very well, I just have an issue with the pricing. It all comes down to if it makes you smile:waytogo:

Thanks SOCO (funny SoCo n Lime one of my favorites too hehe), good info there! i guess im just a lil gun shy on pulling that trigger, i knew i could have it all cheaper and make it a project for me and my brother in law.... well for my brother in law while i stand and ******** with him while my hands are in my pockets and watching... if i was more of a grease monkey who could fix things myself, id be all over doing that. but i think im gonna rock stock for a while, atleast until im certain that the machine is gonna be fine and not having to worry about any warranty issues.

Holy Shit Randy! this is a Ford add-on?

411 horses to 475 for $7000? That's way steep for 64 poinies!

I had a 505 hp Z06 at the fly and I think 426RWHP at the street stock... ported air intake, Dual DMH electric cutouts, dyno/tune... we got it up to 588hp at the fly and like 483 RWHP at the pavement... '

Long story short... I only had about $2000 total into this project...

$7000 for similar gains is insane and greedy.

thats why i ask here!! im not a gear head, used to spend more time researching car audio in my younger days then HP, and then later computers.

Dealership did call and ask me about it, i told em no, cuz 7k was too much, that i could get the parts for about $2700. so he asked the service dept. (my dads friend is head of service there), said if i wanna get the parts myself, they would install it, and being the manager is friend of the family he wouldnt give my any shit on warranty work, but if i break down elseware i may have an issue. said they would do the full install aswell as tweaking the tune on a Dyno for $1200. does that sound out of the question? I would also be thinking of going to true duel exhaust aswell.

thoughts?

thanks guys, i appreciate it!
