when you ordered did they have a raptor option. or was it the f150 bucket option. i have been searching for seat covers and not found the raptor specific option.

It will not be Raptor specific. Just go with f150 supercrew and you would have to select the proper configuration.

I have the ballistic seat covers and boy do they protect the seats. The problem is that on long trips I miss the comfort of the leather. What does the Coverking Kryptek Ballistic Tactical (Typhon) feel like?

Ordered them yesterday, so basically I just kind of guessed on the choices available since I didn't hear otherwise.

Front: 40/20/40 with Removable Headrests, w/o Built-In Seatbelts, solid center console, and side air bags

Rear: 60/40 split seats (SuperCrew)

Again, as much as I would like to trust in the durability of Neoprene from the WetOkoles, I have my reservations against sharp zipper points and jean studs. If you think about it, you can "scratch/fray" on a cosmetic level the surface of Neoprene and then you see this ugly straight line when that happens.

This Cordura fabric though has that classic crisp sheen/hardness to it so short of a deliberate knife point on it those zipper points and studs will just slide along it.

Will post pics when the seat covers come in and I put them on.

you have to be careful that really durable seat covers are not to abrasive and wear the seats more than uncovered ones.

Honestly, as long as they prevent another 3" cosmetic scratch in my seats I'll be happy as is. See the Cordura fabric shouldn't have that much give to rub and given the unique properties of it, spill-resistant (liquids should bead up even when in a large amount) and snag resistant, I doubt they'll be able to wear the seats any worse than sliding in and out of them uncovered.

But nah, you bring up a good valid point. Sometimes in our quest to protect! we only destroy... Lol

yep the clothes we wear are less abrasive than the covers ,

I ordered the gray carharts from the ford site we will see how it goes.

I will not use them unless sand and salt water are involved.

Beware.

I bought the carhart from ford too. I used the front drivers side for about half a day for a test and there were pressure points or lines over the leather. The inner stitching is way too rough on these for leather, remove and check. I can see these causing damage after some use.

I returned them. Now I am using cover king neoprene and they are perfect.
