does it come in shmedium?
A dude in Maryland bought a truck from NC and tried to register it in MD and was denied. THe truck has the tag under the hood but does not come equipped with the CA Emissions package so was denied registration. They ran the VIN and did not inspect the truck.
When I was registering the GT350 I went to the office to get a VIN verification. No one checked the tag they just checked the VIN to make sure all the numbers match. The DMV runs the VIN after the application is sent in. I'm assuming when they run the VIN they see if the vehicle is 50 state legal or not. Or, when the smog check is done I'm sure the VIN would pop up as not eligible.
GT350 has a no charge option for "50 State Emissions" package. If it wasn't a big deal, why do they waste the money on the ink to print it on the sticker?
