It's a lot less body roll when going slow then at 50 or 60.
It's only a 3/4" bar on the softest setting.

Does it corner better, it certainly feels more planted. It does compliment the Deavers.
I need more driving and a few oh crap moments to give you a better answer.
I can say I've snapped quickly over to another lane and I can see and feel less wiggling, there is less correcting if you know what I mean.

Glad you like so far. I noticed the back end rotated much easier, and more predictably when I installed it. I think that has to do with keeping the rear end level, and less energy loss from the body and suspension roll.

I just spoke with Kevin at Hellwig. He told me that they made a slight design improvement to the rear sway bar links. He indicated that he would replace old links free of charge. You'll probably have to email him a pic of your link.

I'm purchasing a used rear sway bar and I'm looking forward to getting it installed. I also have the aftermarket AFE rear diff cover. So I'll post up pics once I get it installed this summer.

Thanks for the heads up Joe, your going to love it.
I can't believe I waited so long to do this mod, I can do cornering 15 to 20 mph faster and safer with it on the softest setting.

I was at KHC on Tuesday getting my new Rev. 2 custom +2 Deavers for SC Raptors installed. Everything looked OK with the sway bar, what's the upgrade?

He said that they moved the link about a 1/4" to align it better. I wasn't sure if it was interference issue or performance issue.

Give Kevin a call 1-800-435-5944

Goes direct to a person. No stupid call menu.

Thanks for the heads up @Yukon Joe. Hellwigs customer service is awesome, they always answer my calls or emails promptly

There was a slight alignment issue I noticed, when the link dropped down, it it not line up perfectly vertical from the "softest" setting hole, I wonder if that is what they are adjusting. I did not notice it as a concern with the older design

I have been driving all week without mine installed, and really miss it. Going to need to make sure it is all squared away by June 6 for me.

Carl,
That sounds about right. He said the link wasn't completely vertical.
He also said he could ship out new as of Tuesday next week.

Just got off the phone with Kevin, so basically the link rod is welded a 1/4 over on bushing on the top eyelet. (like Yukon said)
I just went under my truck and they hang down straight left to right, I'm not putting a level on it, LOL 1/4 in 6" you would see.
Now I mounted my rear end sway bar bushing way out to the end of the sway bar (90 degree bends)
to prevent the sway bar from moving and to get max performance out of the sway bar.

The links do not hang down straight from front to rear on softest setting.
If this is a concern to you, you can just twist the U-bolts on the rear to line up the links.
I Have put heavier sway bars on all my 4 x 4s Bronco, Tahoe 2 dr. and 4 dr. it's the same deal.

BTY, life time warranty on the bushing if they go bad!!!
Kevin said I can call years from now and he'll fix it if I have an issue. Now that's customer service for you.

I agree I would miss the sway bar too. Now that I'm accustom to driving harder around bends and corners.
