Press release: Twin turbo Ford Raptor/6.2L F150 system

Need more power from your Ford truck?

It is time for the Raptor to make some real horsepower.

Hellion has released its twin turbo system for the 2011-2014 Raptor and 6.2 F150. The completely stainless steel turbo system installs easily with no modifications and is available as a turn-key kit—including the ECU tune. The system comes standard with twin Precision 62mm turbos, and 64mm turbos are available as an upgrade. The 7 psi setting will make over 680 hp at the engine, and the base system is capable of supplying up to 1,200 hp.

The price of the system includes headers, which is extra for most supercharger packages. That means no extra parts to buy to make peak power with the base system. This is an all in one package. Additional options such as exhaust coatings, boost controllers and gauges are available. The kit can be purchased as a tuner system as well.

No relocation of the battery and no cutting of the body is needed to install the kit-- a true bolt on system.

All power numbers shown are through stock cats and stock exhaust. Any exhaust upgrades will increase power levels.

Below we have two dyno videos, one of a bone stock 2011 Raptor making 550 RWHP! Also we have a video of a 2wd 6.2L F150 on 7.3 psi making 573 rear wheel horsepower! Again, both of these are done through stock exhaust.

Most supercharged trucks can barely crack 500 rear wheel horsepower at an even higher boost level. (Most supercharged trucks make 450 RWHP in base form). With the efficiency of our twin turbo system, we can make more power at a lower boost level than superchargers, and strain the engine less. Turbos use spent exhaust energy to create boost, where a supercharger uses a belt, which robs valuable horsepower.

It has been a long time coming, but the Hellion twin turbo for the Raptor is here. We have developed turbo systems for late model vehicles for over 10 years, and have experience in the aftermarket industry for over 30 years.

Call Hellion today for maximum performance. Introductory pricing starts at $8375.

Is there the option available to get Garrett Turbos instead of the "Precision" turbos? Are all the Stainless pipes standard Ceramic coated?

I don't think the pipes are standard ceramic. On the 5.0 kit they weren't

All come with a certain type of Precision turbo which have made over 1300hp. Each pipe is Stainless steel and you have the option of wrapping them or jet hot coating.

Oh God. How much boost/power are these stock 6.2 able to handle?

We have made 11psi and it held fine but we do not suggest going over 7psi because these motors have not been really pushed yet.
