Headed to Moab, Will these wheels & tires make it?

I'm looking to do some easier trails out in Moab, maybe fins & things. I have a lot of off road experience on ATV's & SxS's but not in the Raptor. Its a stock 2013 SCREW with 35x12.5-20's. Has anyone been out there? Am I just asking for a trashed wheel/tire in the rocks? Should I find a set of factory wheels & tires for a couple of trails? Thanks!

Welcome to FRF.

It’s going to depend on how serious you’re going to get and if you’re going to get sucked into anything. if you’re disciplined, you’ll be fine. If you’re going to be tempted by stuff that’s more serious though, yes, consider upgrading the shoes.

20" wheels are not ideal, but like smurf said, if you take it easy, you will be fine. Lower your tire pressure. There are a LOT of trails easier than fins and things, you might consider them. Onion creek is a very scenic trail, and the paved road out to it is also very scenic. Have fun.

Thanks for the replies! I'm very disciplined & cautious until I'm not . I think that's what I'll end up doing, sticking to Onion creek, white rim road & the easier stuff. I want to use the truck but not abuse it. Those wheels & tires were on it when I got it. I wasn't a fan until I went around a corner.

White rim needs a permit, at least in the Spring, summer, fall. You’ll need one of those unless you are coming from Potash Road and up Shafer switchbacks.

I’d also suggest Long Canyon. It’s a must see and it rights off Potash Road

Onion Creek, Gemini Trails...few others...you'll be fine. Just don't do the jeep rock-crawling type trails. There's enough variety in Moab. Enjoy the views. Post pics.

Was just out there in August. Gemini Bridges and Bartlet Wash is pretty easy.

I made it! I ran the tires at 30psi and didn't go to fast. It felt like I was driving on a bed of jagged rocks at times but no punctures. I got about 10miles down white rim road, was averaging 7mph with photo stops and the truck said it was getting 6.5mph. It's a blast out there.
