Ok, so we never hooked up the GoPro on Thursday, so I only have our out lap footage from the friday lap. Unfortunately is was only at about 85% pace short shifting to keep the rpm's down so we didn't overheat the engine. Going into lap two, we were gonna go harder and see what happened, unfortunately the tire blew leaving us with just this one lap of footage.

Hope you guys like it.

Anyone learn some good info on the new raptor from the Ford engineers that where there?

Yukon Joe :baby: :baby:

The gist was that they are still working on a lot of things and have yet to make a lot of design decisions. So much so, that "TBD" was the joke of the night afterwards. For instance, he could not answer whether there would be perch adjustment. The rep said that the reason for ours coming on low perch were ride height regulations and it seemed like having the adjustment worried the lawyers.

The whole thing was kind of rushed because it seemed like many people were eager to get to the raffle (and I was in the back and couldn't hear everything), but I got the feeling that he would have been open to a good detailed sit down to take suggestions, not that they'd act on them all.

He did say that the frame for the upcoming Raptor would not be the same as that for the regular F150, it would be based on that frame, but beefed up. Also, electric power steering, which I think may be a pretty big issue.

I'm sure there were some other things, but I don't recall right now.

Also ecoboost will be in effect. It will still have iwes no adjustments on the 3.0s. More switches and we suggested all be 30 amp. It will have more traction control options for different conditions. Frame sounds like it may be specific to truck. That's all I can think of off the top of my head. I tried to ask as many things as they allowed me to to.
