Bummer....

Did you get a spot for Snoball?

Yukon Joe :baby: :baby:

I didn't. Don't think my wife is letting me go. Ha. Are you taking the twins?

Also. Where are all the pics from Havoc? I didn't take any but surely someone did. Where are the photographers pics found.

Smurf runner was a beast, it ran hard for a few days without any issues. I think they gave it a break at the end and it was staying on property for awhile because the SVC guys flew home so that's why it was in the garage.

Smurfrunner spent almost whole weekend looking fast while sitting still. It was in the shop sitting. Not sure what was broke.

The Smurf took about 15+ laps on Thursday into the late evening giving people rides without any major issues. We ended up having a small brake problem that we took care of that night and some over heating problems during the day. The slower speeds at sustained RPM spinning the wheels just overworked the cooling capacity of the stock radiator. We are gonna swap out for a CBR when it gets home.

On Friday, we lined up, went for a lap, ended up having same cooling issues as the day before forcing me to short shift more than I wanted to. When we came around for lap number 2, I backed it into a corner on one of the rock quarry section turns and blew the tire. We limped it back to the pits, looked it over and noticed that we shredded 75% of the serpentine belt and also did some upper link damage. This most likely occurred from all the hard cornering.

Without being close to our home shop to fix it, we figured why run it any more with a rear-end way out of alignment and cooling issues. We had our fun on thursday and probably still logged the most lapps of any truck during the weekend so all-in-all, we are happy with how the weekend went.

Those who took a ride it in on thursday will attest that the Smurf was having a blast out there.

We can't thank Jason, Mark, Joe, Heather and Dave enough for putting on such a great event. Next year, we are just bringing spare parts and towing both ways.

For those those wondering, we were always scheduled to have it shipped home. We can't afford to be away from the shop for more than 7 days.

When it gets home, we will take care of the heating issues for the tighter courses and get it back out there.

Also, I was able to get one lap of GoPro footage on the friday session. I'll post it up when it's done processing.

Great meeting all you who attended, we look forward to going back out next year.

Show me where to buy pics; we were told about these professional photographers and asked not to take photos ourselves. I'm hoping for amazement and awesomeness!

It was great seeing you again Jarrett, had an awesome time chatting and hanging out.
I really looked forward to taking a ride in the Smurf BEAST but the lines were too long and we just ran out of time, maybe next year.
Checking out the amazing work you guys did on your awesome truck just makes me want to :drool2:
I loved seeing all the attention to detail in the work you did to it with the interior as well as the exterior. This thing really shows the top notch quality work you guys do over at SVC.
Hopefully we'll catch up at SEMA and have a beer or 2 :drink_nl:
