Having transmission replaced??

44K miles the shifting hasn't been real bad, but bangs when downshifting ect... Brought it to the dealer 2 times and the second time he said, yea it happened bad when our tech was driving it. They are replacing the entire transmission. Is this the exact transmission that was built in 2020 or has there been some upgrades?

Except THE "spacer washer" in the drum, (sorry for the tecnical words I don't know) I guess it's pretty the same , doesn't it @ all the expert members ???

Otherwise no one advise you just to make relearn/reset transmission module first ??? what about ATF quality , Red, brown, black ???

Not my call. He called me and said he had to pull it out and take a picture of the drum. Send it to Ford and they will approved the new trans. they did the trans learn thing first.
