At the very least they should let people know why they were given a build date and then moved it back almost two months. I didn't sell or trade my truck yet but I feel bad for the people that did.

There were some people a couple weeks ago that were getting theirs moved up, might be on this thread. So I don't think hes totally wrong.

No offense, but really your gambling in this COVID/MICRO chip issue to think it will go as planned. Only reason I can see guys selling before they have the truck due to increased used car prices. Your taking a risk. I wouldn't necessarily put this on the manufacture. Some guys have ordered F150's in December of last year and are still waiting.

Then their scheduling is completely out of wack if people are getting moved up and pushed back. And this doesn't sound like "jimmy the dealers son got his priority order pushed sooner" this sounds more like "oh **** we really don't have the production means to keep this schedule"

i agree in all the time i ordered a raptor which is about 6 times i never had a build date move. i am more worried that they will get moved again. i kinda doubt they will be moved up after moving them out so far. if it was a week fine but 7???? sounds schetchy

I agree you are taking a chance but giving people build dates that are two weeks away and then moving them back 7 weeks is ******. If they didn't have the chips for them they should have passed that info along when dealers were given allocations.

guys i hate to say this but seriously thinking about trx. the only reason that i havent already is i have a relationship with my dealer and it wouldnt be easy for me personally to tell them forget it. also i am a lifelong ford guy. but in the past my father owned a few dodges that we liked so its more a personal thing for me. i have waited longer for raptors that i have ordered but how do we know if they wont get pushed again? thats the part that has got me wondering.
