Genuinely worried about what the used car market will be like in a few months. I want to trade in my truck now, but have no back up…

Trade your truck now and by a few thousand dollar beater. If you lose money on that it will be much less than the trade value of your truck.

Based on the responses here and on FB there are a TON of people now pushed out all to the same day 09/27.. That seems pretty fishy if you ask me. Sounds like something I used to do at my old job to push orders out on a hold date until I re-scheduled transport.

It may not be at the peak, but it won't be too far from it. Auto plants are still shutting down, chips are still in short supply. I've read articles stating that the chip supply won't be back to normal until late next year.

I'd love to ditch mine now, but I need a vehicle and trading it in will give me about $4000 in tax savings.

There were multiple articles just last week saying the shortage should end by July. Now that doesn’t mean supply will catch up with pent up demand, but it should mean supply is at least normal now.

This for me too! I was unscheduled last week and was told yesterday that I have a 09/06 build week.

I'm hoping it doesn't get pushed back!

I feel bad for all you guys getting pushed back but am really thankful that mine has finally been scheduled.

Same boat! Feel bad for everyone being pushed back but feel incredibly blessed to have the opportunity to even get one!
